Every New Years Eve, the Dutch are allowed to light their own fireworks. Despite it being called a tradition, the consequences are horrendous. However, almost 70% of Dutch people are against lighting fireworks themselves, but they aren’t heard by politicians. Therefore Achmea, the biggest insurance company of the Netherlands, stepped in.
